WFAC's History

Sometimes the best ideas come from just noticing things around you. At a summer gathering in Idaho, Talon Hobbs noticed a little girl with spinal bifida who, although valiantly energetic and courageous, just couldn’t keep up with her playground friends. Talon couldn't shake the idea that something could be done to help so he, Austin Brackin of Brackin Machine, and Tyler Mason of BroncBuster, started Wheeling For A Cause to engage the off-road community in providing mobility solutions for disadvantaged persons. Just one month later, WFAC held its first charity off-road trail running event and presented that little girl with a custom, tricked out, fully functional mini BroncBuster! Inspired by the off-road community’s out-pouring of love and support and the sight of a once wheelchair-bound little girl tackling the toughest obstacles on the playground, WFAC set out to be the leading charitable solution to providing solutions to empower mobility disadvantaged persons to experience, engage, and overcome challenging environments.

WFAC's Mission

Wheeling For A Cause is dedicated to provide services and solutions to empower mobility disadvantaged persons to experience, engage, and overcome challenging environments.

WFAC believes that all persons should be able to experience the great outdoors and not be limited when faced with tough obstacles and challenging environments. To this end, WFAC is dedicated to developing and building upon standard mobility platforms to provide “extreme” solutions so that mobility disadvantaged persons feel confident that they can succeed and even excel in challenging outdoor environments.

WFAC's Vision

An off-road 4x4 community that supports and empowers mobility disadvantaged persons to become the best version of themselves in the outdoors and in life.
